Volunteers Needed

Because we have added a game to each of our home game schedules, we are in need of parents to volunteer. We currently only have 3 home games since West Shore disbanded. We haven't yet replaced that game day schedule.

Please see Erica to volunteer for this week's (Saturday, September 4) Pony B game starting at 1pm.

Prepaid Merchandise Sale

We will soon be handing out order forms for pre-paid merchandise.

You will be able to order t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and flannel pants with different designs. There will also be a simple design ball cap.

You can turn the order forms back in to Kim Hardy with your payment of cash or check written to Artistic Image.

We will also be getting out the "old stock" items that we have. They will be sold at a slight discount and sizes vary. There are NO sweatshirts. If you want a sweatshirt, you will need to order one via the pre-pay form.

Once the order is placed, it will take about 2 weeks to come in.

IMPORTANT Practice Information

Practice is at Wagner Park
from 6pm-8pm

If parents are dropping off their children, please be back to pick them up no later than 7:30pm. As daylight shortens, so do practices and we ask that return times be adjusted accordingly.

Starting Monday, August 2, all pads and helmets are required, unless directed otherwise by your coach. Anyone that does not have their physical form completed will not be able to practice with pads until that form is turned in to the Boys' General Manager (Kim Hardy).

If you still need any equipment that the SMFA provides (shoulder pads, helmets, jerseys and pants), please see Kim Hardy (via email or 497-0858). Equipment handout for those players will be at practice this week. For players already "sized" for helmets and just need to hand in physical forms, see Kim Hardy. Those helmets are at Wagner Park.

Practice will be held Monday-Friday until school starts, unless otherwise specified by your coach.

Once school starts, practice will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If your player cannot be at a practice or a game, please contact the head coach first, then the Football General Manager if you are unable to reach the coach.

IMPORTANT Game Information

Home games are played at Wagner Park and are all scheduled on Saturdays. SMFA is planning on running the start of games as follows:

Your orange jersey is to be worn for all home games, unless otherwise instructed.

Away games are scheduled on either Saturday or Sunday. Your white jersey is to be worn for all away games, unless otherwise instructed.

Your team parent will hand out a schedule and field directions as soon as the schedule is finalized by the KMFC. Please remember, if you go to the website (either SMFA's or KMFC's), these Varsity schedules are subject to change.
